I only know 'Quanta costa Laverda?'

You could send your C11 to the UK and get it registered here. Then return it to Italy and get it registered there?

Hi Ricky,
Welcome to the forum. Please can you add your bikes details to the C register or send me the details if you don't want them on the site.

Can you try running a wire from the negative (-) to the coil negative (-) and another wire from the coil positive (+) to the distributor. If the engine runs you have a problem with the existing wiring.
OWEN with your suggest I have a good ??Spark..  :D.......wire from negative battery...to negative coil......and wire from positive coil......to distributor....
This is a little step to solution........now what you think possible to,do?????

That proves the distributor and coil are functional. Now you need to trace the circuit from the battery through to the ignition switch and then off to the distributor. Best to treat each wire individually to see its in the correct place and has a good connection.
One source of problems can be the horn wire that goes from the coil to the horn and the handlebar horn button to the horn. they can short out and stop the coil working.

Do the lights work, Ricky? If so then the power is getting to the switch so the problem is most likely to be between the switch and the coil, as Owen said.

I have seven Laverdas, most of them for many years - 1974 750 SFC, a '75 750 SF2, a '79 Montjuic Mk 1 500, '78 Jota 1000, '80 Mirage TS1200, '84 Corsa 1000 and another '84 Corsa that has the next frame number. They had come up the production line together so when I found it for sale I had to re-unite them. Other Italian bikes I have are a 1980 Ducati 900SS and a 1969 MV Agusta 250B which I bought in Turin.

Coils are usually either marked + & - or CB & SW, CB for contact breaker, SW for supply from switch......with no real adverse effect if connected opposite polarity :-\
