It's several years since I had to recork a clutch but the last time I needed to do it I got a bag of wine corks from a home-brew shop, who sell all this sort of stuff. You have to make sure you get good quality real cork, not synthetic stuff, and they cost pence. I think you can also get sheets of natural cork in the right thickness from a craft or model shop. Recorking a clutch is an easy job but a bit fiddley.

Its now 12 years since a post on this topic, 2022. Is there anywhere to get pre cut cork these days? Or is it a lost cause?

I might tell him to leave the crank drain screw out with a container below if hes going to park it for some time.

Tele-forks…….hydraulic rather than grease filled Bantam type, I think? Plus what I think is a rebuild kit for the forks? The newspaper they were packed in has a 1991 date on it….
