Spare plug
« on: December 06, 2011, 09:11:37 am »
Just a simple thing, really. I use an old kick start or gear pedal rubber to protect the spare sparking plug when it's rattling around in the toolbox. I get through pedal rubbers like no one's business so I cut what's left of a worn up one to slide over the ceramic bit of the plug, another stub over the nose end and hold it all snugly together with an elastic band cut from an old inner tube.

Norfolk's rough roads can do their worst and my plug stays safe forever!

Cheers, Ray
