C10 Carburettor 274 BT/3EG can this work on a 48 C11 with the right jets, I know it should be an 274 L/1AT help required please thanks.

If the bore's the same (which it probably is) and it's in good nick it should work fine.

Check the float bowl is level, size and which side it sits.

it will work but i seem to think the screws are on the other side (or is it the tickler)???
but you can turn the float bowl round to a degree

Owen, the bowl is on the left side looking from (air filter side) what difference would an angle 8 degrees make of the float bowl compared to one that's level, is it the float level, thanks for everyone's reply.

yep, you need to get one that's suitable for the engine. The level type seems to be the most common.
