12 v battery..............12 v coil.........sure.......... ;D........
the bike is running with 12 v 4 ah no coil heating i will use this, but right now i have no idea about this ....i will post picture of coil external temperature with the two batteries after  switch on 15 minutes ...........ricky

Yes I have mentioned that twice now.
If Ricky is running a 6 volt coil on 12 volts, it would explain the heat.

If you leave the ignition on for 15 minutes without the bike running then you will very likely damage the coil. The wax/oil (or whatever it is) surrounding the coils will melt then boil and usually pop the top cover of the coil out. (don't ask me how I know this) :-[

A bike on the road... Is worth two in the shed...

Oh. And you are using a 12v motorcycle coil rather than a car coil? older car coils (that look like old motorcycle coils but bigger) may actually be 6v coils but with a ballast resistor. If you are using a car coil but without the ballast resistor it would definitely overheat.
