Sorry if this has been asked before, my new 375 carb came with a rubber o ring do I just clean of the old fibre gasket and just fit the new o ring thanks .

Thanks for everyone's help 375 carb fitted started first kick, now runs great good tick over with no smoke, would the same carb fit my 1956 c12 engine No BC11g 32073 and what carb for a 1948 C11 engine No ZC11813 its fitted at the moment with a jap carb thanks.

The same monoblock carb was fitted to c12, but I  believe the 48 c11 would have had the standard Amal with separate float bowl, 274BU/1EH I think....but wait for confirmation from others that know.
In fact, I think there may be a list in the service sheets and information section on this site

I think the Monobloc should be OK with all the OHV Cs. Why not try the one you've got on the other bikes. It may involve a few hours swapping over, but it will prove a point. Keep the old carbs with the bike(s), it will help with the sale if ever you move them on.

Thanks again everyone for your time and input on my 54 C11g that was fitted with a Amal 274 BU/1EH ran but would smoke tried every settings and the C11 was fitted with a 274AU/DA but only ran with a jap carb, (very well) but looks out of place when I ride my bikes to our local shows no trailers for me, but will try swapping the 375 with the other bikes, busy digging the footing for new workshop 16' x 12'.
