Mostly Cycle Rate, 26 tpi, in 1/4" and 5/16" diameters, with a few 3/8", 7/16" and others. The coarse rate studs going into the alloy are Whitworth with BSC Cycle Rate on the nut end, Nige. There are also BA and BSP threads scattered around on things like electrics, tank badsges and the fuel system.

If you want a selection of the standard sizes probably better to buy from Nooky's

The front wheel spindle nut is a left hand thread. Not sure of the size?

Your probably lucky Dragonfly had none I bought a complete axle from them and the head sheared straight off when it was tightened, held on by a very small pin and a mucky bit of weld machined off to make it look tidy. They are left hand I think from memory it was a cycle thread.

The spindle will only go in about half way  :-\ The old one fits fine but the thread has gone.

Hi Vreagh. The nut goes on but will not tighten up and is a right handed thread.

I completely agree with the idea of you buying a assorted nut and assorted bolts with bscy thread from nookeys nuts.
The font spindle nut should be left hand thread

If you use a right handed nut on the offside, surely if a bearing seizes, it will tend to unscrew the bolt.
