Generator sprocket
« on: January 06, 2019, 11:25:56 pm »
Hello all,

A small issue with my C11 build. Concerning the generator sprocket, who would know the number of teeth on the sprocket? Also how many on a A7 or A10?
Somebody told me that theses models have different numbers of teeth on their respective sprockets... the C11 has more so it runs faster and charges quicker??
Could this be true? But still I would like to know the numbers.
Cheerio

I haven't counted them, Ian, but it's likely that the Cs could have a faster spinning dynamo because they have coil ignition and the twins have a magneto.

Ah, of course, the magneto! Good thinking.
Although I must still find out how many teeth on the A7 generator for peace of mind.

Thanks for the input.

13t is the original sprocket. Draganfly have superceded it with an 11t version on the same part No. 29-2198 with a chain for £43.00

Get some LED lamps and it won't matter what size sprocket the dynamo has.

The dynamo chain I bought from Draganfly was rubbish, look elsewhere.
