Everything you need, Louis, is in the 'Service Sheets and Parts List' section on this site. Also, Draganfly's web site is very useful, with all original BSA parts lists, pictures and part numbers for all models in their BSA Shop section.

Electrical. Positive to ground or negative to ground?
Is there a surefire way to identify what it should be?

It was originally positive earth, Louis, and the polarity is whatever side of the battery is connected to earth. It makes no difference so, at your stage, it can be whichever you like and the dynamo will need polarising to whatever earth you decide on when you get to that stage.

Good morning Gents.
My appologies for not being active for ages. I have had to put my project in storage in SA and moved to the UK. Thus I am now looking for a new project staring Jan 2021. If anyone knows of anything possibly coming available around that time, please let me know. I am residing in Maidstone Kent.

Regards

Welcome to the UK Louis, if you  don't mind me asking,  are you from here originally, or SA by birth?
I can't help with a project I'm afraid, but you should be able to find something either here or on ebay etc,....in these covid and possible 2nd lock down times they seem to be more sought after with prices increasing...more so than completed bikes ???

South African born. But have been in the uk from 2002 to 2011, and have returned now with SA in the state it's in. Thanx for the advice. I will keep you all in the loop if and when I find my next project.
