BSA would have probably have given "wet" weight, i.e with full tank of fuel.
Several threads on here regarding making/fitting side stands....may be a good idea to give up the fags ;)

If you're skilled at metal working and welding there is an excellent plan on here but if [like me] you are more limited then this on E Bay 392923829691 [yes it's for a Vespa] is a relatively easy fit on my C12 - might do for the C11 too. Just thread the stud [sorry I used M8] drill one hole in the rear footrest mounting plate and that's it - I'll post a pic if you're interested

I've had a clamp on one for years but it was starting to crimp the tube, so had to find an alternative. I've now fitted a Enfield Bullet one to my plunger C11. Fitted to the engine bolt behind the footrest,  one cut and one hole drilled and job done

Small world Haddy as I've a sister that lives in Newcastle (Maitland) and one that lives nearby (Vacy)...  I can photo my C12 side stand if you want..    ::)   Griff
Ride safely and no pinchmarks on the seat.
 Feet-up, only on trials sections...
